The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and the beautiful coastal areas. With scenic mountain views and a nearby pub serving homemade food, it offers a great base for families. The cottage itself is spacious, beautifully refurbished, and feels like a home rather than a rental. The rooms are well-equipped and the living room with a log burner creates a cozy atmosphere. The owner is friendly and helpful, providing detailed information prior to arrival and even welcoming guests with a bottle of Prosecco and Welsh cakes.

The occasional traffic noise from the nearby main road can be a minor inconvenience.

We were absolutely stunned by the beauty and warmth of this cozy cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home. The decor was tastefully done, and the spaciousness of the cottage easily accommodated our family of four adults and two children. The extra toilet was a lifesaver. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living area provided a warm and cozy atmosphere. Despite experiencing a power outage due to Storm Arwen , the owner, Colin, was incredibly helpful and kept in constant communication with us. He provided us with plenty of wood, candles, and blankets to keep us warm, and the log stove added an extra touch of coziness. When the power eventually returned, everything was back to normal. It was actually a little adventure for the kids, and we adults enjoyed the quality family time. We would definitely return to Pen Y Bont Cottage, even if we experience power cuts again. our stay was lovely, and we highly recommend this cottage.

There may be occasional traffic noise as the cottage is located just off the main road. However, the location is still perfect for exploring the area.

Great value for money, the cottage had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect, away from tourist areas but still close to lots of activities. The owners were professional, thoughtful, and friendly.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had more variety.

The cottage's location is ideal, with easy access to top Snowdonia attractions and beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. Guests are provided with everything they need, from a well-equipped kitchen to a lovely living room with a log stove. The owner is friendly, accommodating, and provides clear instructions for operating household amenities. The extra thoughtful touches, like a welcome cake and prosecco, add to the overall fantastic experience.

There is one minor issue with the lampshades in the lounge, which may pose a potential hazard for taller guests.
