Despite experiencing a power outage due to Storm Arwen , the owner, Colin, was incredibly helpful and kept in constant communication with us. He provided us with plenty of wood, candles, and blankets to keep us warm, and the log stove added an extra touch of coziness. When the power eventually returned, everything was back to normal. It was actually a little adventure for the kids, and we adults enjoyed the quality family time. We would definitely return to Pen Y Bont Cottage, even if we experience power cuts again. our stay was lovely, and we highly recommend this cottage.
